SK Hynix is assessing the feasibility of setting up a joint venture in Japan to produce memory chips that meet the growing demand for artificial intelligence and help control manufacturing costs.
Chey Tae-won, chairman of the SK Group, said that SK hynix is considering several regions to set up the joint venture plant.
