🚨 Zcash is tackling one of the biggest friction points for private transactions: speed. Zakura says its new cryptography stack can cut the time wallets spend creating private transactions from more than 3 seconds to under 200 milliseconds in many cases, with mobile proof generation becoming more than 14× faster. The improvements extend beyond wallets. Hashing is reportedly over 21× faster, while private transaction verification on nodes is 4–8× faster. Importantly, the libraries can be adopted without a Zcash network upgrade. Zakura has already integrated the new stack, while wallets such as Vizor are among the early adopters.
