Global markets enter a new session today Monday amid a climate of caution, after the U.S. strikes on Iranian missile launch platforms on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz revived fears of further escalation. At the same time, Wall Street is nearing the close of August with strong gains, led by the technology sector and AI stocks.

The latest developments indicate that Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell by about 0.29%, S&P 500 futures dropped by 0.36%, while Nasdaq-100 futures declined by around 0.4%.
