Is $WBTC playing cat-and-mouse with you guys? Just look at the choppy prices around the 78k mark—FOMO folks are getting impatient and want to jump in, while the stubborn crowd is waiting for a dump to catch the bottom. Don’t let this dull light green-and-red color fool you, because the market always has a way to “punish” those who lack patience.
From my perspective, the bears and the bulls are battling fiercely in this price zone. Look at the data to feel the tension:
🔹 15-minute timeframe: Price is above MA(20) at 77768 and EMA(9) at 77927. This suggests short-term support is still present—LONGs are still trying to hold their ground so price doesn’t break down deeply.
🔹 1-hour timeframe: MA(20) is at 78330, slightly higher than the current price, acting as a hard resistance. Meanwhile, EMA(9) at 77934 is an important psychological support point. When price stays between these two lines, the market is in an accumulation phase, waiting for a breakout.
Based on my experience, if you can’t break through the 78330 zone decisively, selling pressure from short-term profit-takers will be extremely brutal. I lean toward the scenario of retesting the EMA(9) support on the 1-hour timeframe before deciding on the next direction.
Here’s my personal setup for this trade:
🎯 Position: SHORT (for a quick adjustment)
🎯 Entry: 78250 - 78300 (Watch for pushes that touch the 1-hour MA)
🎯 TP: 77500 - 77200
🎯 SL: 78650 (If it breaks above this zone, the bulls have won—I’ll stay out)
The plan is to take small taps for a bit of profit, then keep observing. Don’t try to “hold strong” if the rules are violated, because $WBTC once it runs, there’s no turning back.
Guys, what position are you holding on this one—LONG, SHORT, or still standing outside watching the order book?
Note: This is my personal viewpoint, not investment advice. Trading always comes with risk (DYOR).
