To be honest, today I got a bit “educated” by gold. In the morning I watched XAUT hovering around $4,435, and the system gave me a wait-and-see signal, so I didn’t act. Then in the afternoon that wave moved from $4,388 up to $4,460—I swear, I just watched it go and didn’t get a bite.
But then again, not chasing was probably the right call. BTC has been trading sideways around 77k, and ETH has also been stalling around 2,444—the whole market is waiting for direction. For a low-volatility product like XAUT, chasing higher prices can easily get you shaken out; a grid strategy is actually a better fit.
Right now the system is still in a wait-and-see mode, but on the 4-hour timeframe there are a few hints of something building. The gold safe-haven logic is still there; it’s just that if BTC picks a direction first, XAUT will most likely follow. I’m waiting for a breakout confirmation—once $4,460 is cleared, I’ll consider adding to my position.
