To be honest, I’m a bit panicky.
In the past hour, XAUT dropped 0.8%—from 4460 straight down to 4396, right at the lower edge of my grid. The system signal still leans bearish, but this drop isn’t small for a gold token. I’m currently underwater on my position.
BTC is ranging around 77766 with no clear direction, and ETH is weak too. The whole market is waiting for a breakout or a crash, but XAUT is following its own path—defensive capital is quietly coming in, though the volume isn’t enough. The trading volume of 300k USDT suggests big money hasn’t moved yet.
My system says: keep the grid orders hanging. 4350 below is strong support; if it breaks, cut the loss. Honestly, this spot feels awkward—neither up nor down. The stop-loss distance is also too far.
I’m wondering whether I should manually intervene, but I’m afraid that moving will just leave me getting slapped by both sides. The grid strategy’s biggest taboo is changing parameters midway—I understand that, but watching the floating loss numbers jump around still makes me itchy.
What about you? When you encounter a situation like this, do you stick with the system signals or manually intervene? Drop a comment and let’s talk about your positions.
