A vulnerability in an outdated Rain contract caused the loss of $1.1 million from several card programs on Solana, including $500,800 belonging to 1,685 Avici users.
The value of AVICI plummeted by 49% when the attacker converted the stolen *stablecoins* into SOL, transferred them to the Ethereum network via a (*bridge*) and sent them through Tornado Cash.
Avici states that self-custody wallets were not affected and that the full balance of the compromised card funds will be reimbursed.
