$AKE This round of selling has been ruthless enough—contract positions evaporate a big chunk in a single day; the long side’s leverage gets slaughtered piece by piece until they’re disarmed. Panic selling gets thrown out like dumping trash. When it drops like this and there’s still money bold enough to step in and buy—that’s money with confidence. Damn it—of course, right at a time like this, the whales’ long positions are still quietly adding. On the spot order book, buy orders are thicker than sell orders by a wide margin, and buy-side trades dominate as well. If you ask me: retail gets shaken into terrified birds, and all the floating leverage gets shaken out. That’s why the bounce is where the real meat is— the harder it falls, the deeper the pit; whoever dares to bottom-pick gets the fullest bite.
