$XRP LEDGER PREPARES FOR THE QUANTUM COMPUTING ERA
Ripple is advancing a 4-stage plan to make the XRP Ledger (XRPL) resistant to future quantum-computing threats.
The roadmap focuses on:
1️⃣ Assessing XRPL’s cryptographic vulnerabilities
2️⃣ Testing post-quantum security solutions
3️⃣ Running existing and quantum-resistant systems in parallel
4️⃣ Migrating the network toward full quantum resistance
Ripple is targeting full post-quantum readiness by 2028, while also preparing contingency measures if quantum threats emerge earlier.
Important: #XRP is NOT currently “quantum-proof.” This is a long-term security initiative designed to protect XRPL, wallets, validators and digital assets before quantum computers become a practical threat.
This could become an important infrastructure upgrade for XRP and the broader crypto industry.
