BTR—this breakout has some real substance.

In just 15 minutes it surged +11.26%. Volume shot up to 4.92x the normal level, and the volatility Z jumped straight to 4.74. This kind of move isn’t something retail traders could smash out.

What’s especially interesting is that while price is rising, the OI for 15m is actually shrinking (-0.77%). Over 1h it’s only a slight increase. This structure looks more like short covering rather than fresh longs pushing the move. In plain terms: the shorts that got liquidated are buying back, not some new wave of buyers actively accumulating for a bullish run.

Price has already broken above the upper edge of the last ~20 consecutive 5m K lines. The active trade imbalance is up 18.3%, and the buy/sell ratio is 1.45. The directional intent of this candle is very clear. The全池 OI percentile is directly 100%, and nominal change across the whole pool ranks 2nd—definitely a highly watched target for capital.

That said, note that the combination of OI decreasing while price rises often has limited follow-through. Short covering is a one-off buy, not incremental demand from new positions. If you’re chasing longs now, watch the pullback strength—if the breakout level isn’t breached on the retest, there could still be a chance for a second push higher.

24-hour spot volume is $200 million. At that scale it’s not small, but after such extreme 15m volatility, it likely needs a breather. Keep an eye on whether OI turns positive—that’s the key to判断 whether new funds are taking over.
