BTC support and resistance stop zones
Cost Basis Distribution data shows that BTC is currently trading within a “supply gap” area between two major cost basis clusters.
The $62K–$65K zone is acting as an important demand floor. About 1.44M BTC has been accumulated here, with nearly 2/3 belonging to STH (Short-Term Holders). This indicates that the cohort of recent buyers is still holding their position and there has not yet been significant capitulation pressure.
On the upside, $83K–$86K is the first notable supply wall, with around 1.05M BTC held by LTH (Long-Term Holders). This supply has gone through the entirety of the recent adjustment phase and is likely to become a break-even selling / profit-taking source when price returns to the cost basis area.
In the short term, the STH Cost Basis around $70K continues to be an important dynamic support layer.
Current on-chain setup:
* $62K–$65K: Structural Demand Floor
* ~$70K: STH Cost Basis / dynamic support
* $83K–$86K: LTH Supply Wall / main resistance
If BTC approaches $83K–$86K, the reaction from LTH here will be a key signal: supply absorption → confirmation of market strength; strong distribution emerges → price may continue to be capped within a range.
