["Did You Think It Dropped Enough to Buy the Dip"? You Might Be Making the Dumbest Retail Investor Mistake】

Many people see ONDO fall 84% from its peak and immediately think of four words: severely undervalued. If it’s cheap, then not buying means you’re stupid.

But I’m telling you—this logic has ruined countless people.

Back in 2008, when I was running an e-commerce business, I saw too many merchants “buy the bottom” by stockpiling inventory during downturns. In the end, it wasn’t buying the bottom—it was buying halfway up the hill. In crypto, it’s the same: falling a lot doesn’t automatically mean you should buy. You still need to ask whether the reasons for the drop hold up.

Back to ONDO—

The signal I gave is to watch and wait, not to go bearish.

In the last 24 hours: -4.3%. In 7 days: -6.1%. In 30 days: -16.6%. Momentum has been weakening the whole time—there’s no dispute there. But here’s the key question: what’s driving this sell-off?

Honestly, I looked through recent industry updates and couldn’t find any direct negative news specific to ONDO itself. BIS says stablecoins aren’t good, but that’s about the whole sector. As for BTC ETF outflows—that’s an overall market effect. So my take is: this leg down looks more like a broader market pullback than ONDO having its own problem.

So can it be acted on?

I do recognize the RWA narrative. In the long run, tokenizing real-world assets is the trend. But in the short term, market sentiment is cooling. The greed index is still 68, but it has already been sliding from 70 last week. Also, BTC’s market cap share at 59.5% suggests capital is concentrating to seek safety.

From my experience, at times like this, rather than trying to guess the bottom, it’s better to wait for the signal.

Key levels: $ 0.35 is a psychological support, and $ 0.42 is recent resistance. If it can hold here on declining volume, you could try a small position. But if it breaks below $ 0.32 on rising volume, don’t stubbornly hold.

I’m not bearish on ONDO—I just think at this position, both bulls and bears have arguments. Better to let the market choose the direction.
