📉 MVRV Z-Score sends a signal: Bitcoin’s bottom may still be ahead

In the 2017–2018 cycle, after three major peaks, the MVRV Z-Score formed a base, but BTC’s final macro bottom only appeared after another intense sell-off—when this indicator officially dropped into negative territory.

The current structure shows a clear similarity: three tops have also formed during 2024–2025, after which MVRV cooled significantly. However, this indicator has not yet touched the negative zone—the area that, throughout history, has always marked major BTC cycle bottoms.

If history repeats itself even partly, the market may still face a deeper capitulation sell-off. According to the model’s author, this scenario could push BTC back toward the $53,000 area or lower.

⚠️ Key takeaway: This doesn’t mean the $53K level is certain to happen. However, from an on-chain data perspective, the confirmation signal for the final bottom has not yet appeared—so the current rebound should not be viewed as a guarantee that the bearish phase is over.#BTC $NVDAB $GOOGL.US
