Encryption | Bottom Observation | August 29
A 80% crash and they still can’t move an inch—this kind of coin, I’ve been watching for 2 months and still didn’t dare to make a move.
You don’t need me to say much about today’s chart, right? $BTC $ smashed down with a single bearish candle to around 77,000. $ETH $ at 2,400 is holding, but it looks pretty ugly. And $SOL $ at 103 is also drifting lower day after day.
When the whole market is in a chorus of wails, I instead pulled out a few “old favorites” I’ve been keeping an eye on—
The top three with the highest bottom scores:
1. RECALL — score 68, down 75.8% from the high, sideways for 70 whole days, current price 0.066
2. TRUTH — score 67, down 81.1%, sideways for 65 days, current price 0.0168
3. ALLO — score 62, down 87.2%, sideways for 70 days, current price 0.086
Honestly, I added these three to my watchlist back in June. The logic is simple: after the crash stops making new lows, time buys you space, and the chips slowly rotate hands. This is one of the most classic bottom formations.
But why haven’t I moved yet? Because long sideways action is also a kind of torture. Seventy days, brothers. The stock I tried to bottom-fish during a three-month consolidation—on day 80, it halved again straight away. I still remember it vividly, buried to the core.
So the signals I’m waiting for are only two:
1) A breakout with volume above the upper edge of the consolidation box (volume at least 2x the average)
2) “Ignition K” — a big green candle that punches clean through the platform, with volume, news, and sentiment driving it
Also, quick note on SUI: the Grayscale and Canary Capital ETFs have both been listed, and the price is actually down another 6%. If this kind of good news doesn’t move it, either it’s not the right time yet, or someone is deliberately dumping to scoop up. Worth watching a bit more closely.
Not a recommendation to buy, though—these three have low liquidity, so keep your position light.
Would you take a trade like this—down 70% and sideways for 2 months? Or would you rather wait for volume confirmation before chasing? Drop a comment and let’s chat
