Don’t panic, brothers—this BTC pullback is nothing more than a shakeout. I’m still bullish on this move.
BTC has fallen from 81,000 all the way down to a low of 76,900. But after the breakout above 80,000 failed, has the market shown any trend break?
On the 4H timeframe, BTC is currently digesting the profit-taking formed by the earlier sharp rally. There’s short-term resistance around 81,000, while the 76,000–77,000 area is becoming the first support/consolidation zone.
One of the biggest catalysts for this round of action has been sustained inflows into spot ETFs. Before August, there were consecutive days of net inflows; however, as Warsh delivered a hawkish signal at Jackson Hole, BTC showed clear profit-taking.
My view remains generally bullish.
Because if this is only a normal 4-hour level correction, then the most ideal path wouldn’t be to rush back to challenge 81,000 immediately. Instead, it should first hold steady above $76,000–$77,000, and only then retest $80,000.
Pay attention to whether the 4H candle breaks down and effectively loses 76,000, and whether the rebound fails to reclaim that level. If that happens, it would mean the short-term structure is starting to weaken.
On the other hand, as long as BTC completes a turnover in this range, this pullback becomes a cleaning of post-uptrend positioning.
