$BTC Evening Recap | 2026.08.29

First, I need to admit a mistake.

In the morning report, I predicted that today’s BTC could test above 79,000. What happened instead? Throughout the day it stayed squeezed in a tight range of 77,507–77,964—less than a 500-dollar spread—and closed at 77,511, almost unchanged.

Direction call: ❌ Wrong.

Honestly, the market didn’t really give any opportunity today. Liquidity/volume shrank, and both bulls and bears were waiting—no one dared to move. In this kind of market, I overestimated the rebound momentum. That’s a misjudgment on my part—no blaming anyone else.

But there’s one thing I still insist on:

76,888 is an important low. Yesterday it was hammered down, but it didn’t break through. Today it didn’t even get tested. As long as this level holds, the structure remains intact.

The most critical level for tomorrow:
📍 Support 76,888
If it breaks, it means the three-day consolidation range has been completely lost, and we’ll need to reassess. If tomorrow continues to defend it, then perhaps it’s the moment to wait for a rebound signal.

I didn’t trade today—I just waited. Sometimes staying put is stronger than making random moves.

How did your trades go today?
