Last night at Jackson Hole, the market was splashed with cold water: BTC was knocked back from above 80,000, and both gold and US stocks cooled off too.
Today is the yihai day (乙亥), with water giving birth to wood. In metaphysical terms, it looks more like after a drop there could be a repair—but we need to first see whether anyone steps in below. So today I won’t call the bottom, and I won’t chase the first wave of rebound.
BTC is now around 77,800. I’m watching 77,000–77,500 support and 79,000–80,000 resistance. If 77,000 holds, there’s a chance to probe back toward 80,000. If 76,000 is really lost too, then watch 74,500–75,000 to protect.
For ETH around 2,430, watch 2,400–2,430 support and 2,480–2,500 resistance. If 2,400 holds, you can wait for a repair; only when you reclaim 2,500 will it feel comfortable. If 2,400 breaks, altcoins are likely to keep getting hit.
Gold also got hit hard this round by the hawks, and it’s now around 4,567. Watch 4,550–4,570 support and 4,600–4,630 resistance. If 4,550 can be held, you can look for a pullback bounce; if even 4,500 can’t be held, don’t rush to catch a falling knife.
US stocks are the same. For the S&P, the key levels are 7,680–7,700 / 7,750–7,800. For the Nasdaq, watch 26,200–26,300 / 26,500–26,700. Especially pay attention to AI and semiconductors: if the Nasdaq can’t hold 26,200, then this isn’t just a one-day sentiment swing.
So today, I’m really just watching three numbers:
BTC 77,000｜Gold 4,550｜Nasdaq 26,200.
