Morning market watch (CoinGecko): $BTC gave back to 77812, down -3.4% in 24h. The intraday high at 80501 was not held; the low was 76962. In 1h it’s still weak at -0.1%. $ETH 2444 (down -2.7% in 24h, down -2.9% in 7d) is softer than BTC on the weekly chart. $BNB 691 (down -3.2% in 24h, up +0.6% in 7d) is still relatively resilient on the weekly, but during the day it was hit along with the selloff.
Fear & Greed fell from 73 yesterday to 68; it’s still in greed, but the cooling greed coincided with the loss of the 80k level. In the short term, it looks more like profit-taking plus stop-losses exiting at the same time, not a one-way collapse.
My framework: short-term is neutral to defensive—first see whether 77000 can hold. If it can’t stand firm, don’t rush to catch. For the medium term, treat 80500-ish as the first resistance after the pullback; until it’s reclaimed, I won’t talk about chasing longs. If ETH is not stronger than BTC, it’s not worth expecting a catch-up rally; otherwise it continues to lag. The BNB weekly chart hasn’t broken, but don’t treat it as a safe haven during the day.
