8.29 Market Update
Last night I chased a short on big BTC and also on ETH’s “second coin” (2), but I got scared off by a pullback—so I only kept half a position in ETH. I set my stop-loss at 2530; I missed it by a few points and got stopped out. Then later in the early morning hours it dropped again. The sell order at $BTC placed at 76666 also missed by about 200 points and didn’t get filled.
Lately this market has been really grinding—what should I do now?
For ETH: the 1-hour Vegas channel has support. For shorts, if it breaks above 2450 I’ll exit; if it doesn’t, I’ll keep holding down toward 2380 to 2350.
For Bitcoin: it missed by about 200 points on my order too. It also has support in the 1-hour channel. On the 15-minute chart a new high formed; when it pulls back, I’ll go long.
