DOGE bounces off 0.0853; on the hourly chart there are five bullish candles—looks like a recovery. My first reaction is to check whether the money is actually there. Spot net outflows over 3 hours: 53 million. None of the 12 funding candles turned red. Large orders have pulled out 32 million across nearly 5 candles. This move is contract-driven active buying propped up with leverage (buying pressure 59.8%, 7-hour volume energy amplified by 84.5%); it isn’t real money buying.
The leveraged stack is most afraid of having no follow-through. The fee rate is only 0.005%, so increasing leverage is almost free—but the money just circulates within the futures. Spot leveraged long ratio dropped 15.7% over 12 hours, and on-chain longs are being offloaded. Even whale long positions shrank by 3.39%. Price is still about 5% below MA50; 4-hour momentum is flat, and the trend side label is down. This isn’t a reversal.
So at this level, I’m shorting DOGE. A bounce to 0.085–0.086 is the short entry. Place the stop loss above 24-hour high 0.0903. Big spot capital has been withdrawing all the way—leverage can only hold up for a few bullish candles.
The only signal that counts for a viewpoint reversal is this: spot funding candles turn red, large orders switch to net inflows, and trading volume breaks above 0.09. If real money comes back, I’ll immediately close the short.
