Crypto payments platform Rain said its monitoring system detected a vulnerability affecting a small number of programs using outdated versions of Solana contracts, while other programs were not impacted. According to ChainCatcher, Rain launched an investigation to determine the scope of the incident.

Rain said it has upgraded all programs using the outdated Solana contracts and resolved the issue. The company added that it will continue monitoring the matter, has hired third-party forensic experts, and will cooperate with law enforcement and relevant regulators. Rain also said all affected users will receive full compensation and that remediation has begun.
