The TRON network is getting a major technical upgrade… and this time, it’s not just a small tweak in the network 👀⚙️

Proposal 107 has started voting on the Mainnet, and if it’s approved, it’s expected to go into execution on August 28 at 2:00 PM Singapore time.

So what’s going to change?

The update is related to enabling Prague and Osaka features that are already present in the new Pyrrho release.

This will add a few important things:

🔹 Querying the Hash of old blocks
🔹 Support for the CLZ instruction
🔹 Native support for secp256r1 to verify using a Passkey
🔹 Improved Energy consumption in MODEXP operations

The details may sound technical, but in simple terms, it means developers will have more tools and capabilities to work with TRON.

And the key point here is that this isn’t just about adding Features and done.

It also brings the TVM closer to alignment with recent developments in the blockchain world.

For me, this kind of upgrade is more important than any temporary hype, because it strengthens the network from the inside.

If the proposal is approved on August 28, it could be a significant step for TRON. 🚀
