Pokémon’s official X account was briefly compromised and used to promote a cryptocurrency. The unauthorized posts, including a supposed $POKEMON memecoin promotion, were removed after the company regained control of the account.

The Pokémon Company confirmed the incident, secured the account and said it is investigating the breach.
