#URGENT :

Federal Reserve’s target of 2% for the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) inflation index is firm and unwavering!

Kevin Warsh, chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve, said during the “Jackson Hole” conference that the goal of reaching 2% for the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index is a fixed, unchanging objective, and that the Federal Reserve’s mission lies in achieving price stability.

He noted that market pricing reflects confidence in the Fed’s ability to achieve this goal, and that medium-term inflation expectations appear largely stable.

He also added that the initial indicators provided by the leaders of the working groups are encouraging.
