Bitcoin Is Starting to Trade More Like Gold?
An interesting shift is showing up in the market.
Grayscale’s Zach Pandl recently pointed to Bitcoin’s rising correlation with gold, while its relationship with stocks has weakened.
The bigger idea is the so called debasement trade where investors pay more attention to assets that may be viewed as scarce when concerns around currencies, debt and purchasing power increase.
But correlation is not a permanent relationship.
BTC, ETH and other digital assets can still behave very differently depending on liquidity, sentiment and market conditions.
For me, the takeaway is simple:
AI can analyze the data. Charts can show the trend. But context and risk awareness still matter.
DYOR. Nothing here is financial advice.
