Gold in One Night Falls Below 4,500; Silver Plunges 4%; “Interest-Free Assets” Get Beaten Up Together Last night, it wasn’t just the crypto market that got smashed by Woosh’s broadside—gold and silver went down too. Spot gold closed down 2.95% to $4,453.67 per ounce, breaking directly below the 4,500 level and marking its worst single-day performance since early June. Even worse was the intraday move: gold was up nearly 1% at one point. After Woosh took the stage, it suddenly dumped—classic “catching the falling knife” action at high levels. Silver was even harsher. It crashed 4.16%, closing at $66.33 per ounce. Earlier it had still been up more than 2%—in just over an hour, it gave it all back. Why did gold—“the king of safe havens”—crack? Because last night’s hawkishness from Woosh was textbook-level. Bloomberg calculations: measured by the immediate increase in the two-year U.S. Treasury yield, it was the most hawkish Jackson Hole speech since 2009—more aggressive than the two remarks from Powell in 2022 and 2023. The two-year U.S. Treasury yield closed at 4.356%, a one-month high. The 30-year yield moved back above 5.2%, the highest level since 2007. The U.S. dollar index rose 0.5%. The logic is simple: gold doesn’t pay interest—when interest rates are higher, the opportunity cost of holding gold rises. One level deeper: this round of gold’s rally was driven by a “depreciation trade” fueled by the surge in “U.S. Treasury holdings above $40 trillion plus the Treasury’s buyback/repurchase program,” with the market betting that the Fed would coordinate with the Treasury to suppress yields and, in effect, ease policy. The result: Woosh stated directly that financial conditions are not tight, and that he mainly manages prices. The core assumption behind the depreciation trade was immediately disproven. Gold and Bitcoin fell together last night—that was the signal: the market shifted from “betting on currency depreciation” to “betting on Fed rate hikes.” Can the “safe-haven” story of gold still be told? Or is this round’s real safe haven only cash and short-term Treasuries? #1688家族family $BNB $SOL

Last night, it wasn’t just the crypto market that got smashed by Woosh’s broadside—gold and silver went down too.

✨Tom Lee thinks $6,000 ETH by the end of the year isn’t a wild stretch—it’s actually kind of a safe bet in his eyes. He’s basing that on the ETH/BTC ratio nudging up from 0.03 to 0.04, which honestly is still a long way from where it peaked at 0.08 in 2021.

So what’s changed this time? He’s not focused on meme coins or NFT mania. Lee points to real-world utility stuff like tokenization and AI agents doing real work. The current payment rails just weren’t built for machines to move money back and forth, and he thinks Ethereum has a shot at becoming the default highway for all those automated transactions.

He’s also watching for a possible spark: the CLARITY Act coming up in September. Sure, it’s a catalyst, but even if it doesn’t move forward, he figures ETH is still in a solid spot.

Then there’s the bigger question floating around: Are institutions going to embrace permissioned, more private compliance systems, or will they stick with Ethereum’s public, transparent playground? That conversation’s only going to heat up as more agent-driven activity kicks in. So which way’s it going to go?

Tesla drops back to 350; with a PE of still 322x, how long can the robots story hold?
How conflicted is Tesla right now?
The stock price is 348.75, down 30% from its 52-week high of 498.83; 3 months down 21%, 6 months down 13%; yet the P/E ratio is — 322x.

A stock that hasn’t risen for a year (up 0.8% in 1 year) still trades at 322x P/E. What exactly is the market pricing in? The answer is one word: robots.

In Q2, Tesla delivered 480,000 vehicles, generated $28.2 billion in revenue, and earned $1.1 billion in profit—honestly, for an automaker, that’s not bad.

But Wall Street no longer treats it as an automaker. Its valuation logic now is: Optimus robotics mass production + FSD autonomous driving + Robotaxi. If any one of these stories even works out, Tesla won’t be “today’s Tesla.” What if none of them pans out? Then the 322x P/E is a sword hanging over its head.

Worse still, the supply chain is stuck: the late-July slump saw Musk’s net worth evaporate by $130 billion over five trading days—because key components for robots are missing Chinese suppliers. A supposed “American-made” flagship propped up by China’s supply chain to support a valuation story is, in itself, pretty ironic.

Analysts are also tearing each other apart: the most optimistic targets 600, the most pessimistic gives just 125—there’s nearly a 5x gap in between.

Musk has been busy with other things lately, too: he ranked fourth in midterm election contributions with $90.5 million, authorized a Super PAC to spend another $100 million; retiring Starship’s Falcon 9, building a $100 billion launch site, and touting $3.5 trillion in revenue—still the same “master of pitching,” but the pie just keeps being drawn farther away.

So is Tesla’s valuation for “Tesla,” or for “Musk”? If robot mass production keeps getting delayed, 350 might still be expensive; if Optimus really comes true, then it’s effectively a floor price. Which side are you on? $TSLA $TSLAB

*Midnight radio waves, morning victories* 🎙️🌙
At 2:17 a.m. The city has fallen asleep. The microphone is on, and the coffee is still warm. “In this endless night, someone is always turning and unable to sleep.”
This is the kind of quiet dedication no one can see: studying, analyzing, and continuing to speak even when no one is listening yet.
This is what “perseverance” looks like—when all is silent, still holding the line.
Because major breakthroughs are not born in the noise, but from the careful preparation and accumulation during the deep night 💎
Trading is like that too. When others scroll endlessly without purpose, we study intently; when others guess blindly, we make precise forecasts.
I’m putting this discipline into *Predict Token*—here, you can place your belief based on real events, hone your judgment, and turn late-night research into tangible results. See the situation clearly and make decisive moves 📈
Keep speaking, keep being present. Thank you, my family, for your support—heading toward our goal of 20,000 followers! 🙏

Most people’s emotional suffering in this lifetime stems from a fatal obsession. We always assume that true feelings can last forever, that staying together can endure, and that love’s sincerity will never change.
We always think that the passion, certainty, and deep affection of the present are the standard answers for a lifetime.
We always believe that the person who walks with us for a while will stay with us to the end of our days. We struggle desperately for completeness, insist on what cannot change, and fight against separation.
But the more we cling, the more we consume ourselves internally; the more we force it, the more it hurts. Because from the very beginning, we misunderstood the world’s underlying rules.$AAPLB

Sun Yuchen’s piece titled “My Girlfriend Jing Tian” has cornered all the trending topics on the entire Chinese internet. My first reaction was to laugh; and as I kept laughing, I thought—this is just too “Sun Yuchen.”

A man with a net worth of $8.5 billion, for more than $30 million in bride price, lays out details of his ex-girlfriend’s private life for the whole internet to watch. You say he’s short on money? No way. You say he’s deeply devoted? Even the ending has a line that says, “This article is entirely fictional.”

It’s like the pump-and-dump tactics commonly seen in the crypto circle—you think it’s value discovery, but in reality it’s attention being cashed out. Sun Yuchen has always understood this: the Buffett lunch was filmed and then he didn’t go, using the heat for two waves; he paid $6.2 million for a banana and ate it publicly, getting headlines everywhere. His life is a continuous “market-making” of attention—every incident is like an “on-chain” moment, turning controversy, gossip, and shock value into traffic and exposure.

But you need to see the essence clearly: attention can pump prices, and it can also dump them. The most worth-guarding in this incident isn’t the melodramatic plot—it’s that the founder’s public-opinion risk is now transmitting to related assets. Tron TRX, HTX, and the Trump coin he’s deeply tied to are, in essence, “Sun Yuchen concept stocks.” When the founder’s public image shifts from “the king of crypto marketing” to “the male lead in a relationship dispute,” the fragility of the chip structure gets amplified.

More subtly, there’s the detail that’s been mentioned again and again: when Jing Tian asked him, “Can you come to Beijing?” he went silent. Behind that silence lie questions about travel restrictions, regulatory risk, and asset liquidity. For someone who can’t even get back to the capital, how much of his wealth is paper glory, and how much is real cash in hand—let the market weigh it.

Gossip is for looking at, not for paying for the story. The iron rules of the crypto world have never changed: the more noisy the founder is, the more calmly you must think. He’s cashed in all that attention—yet you might end up becoming the cost of the attention economy.

Don’t be optimistic and interpret Vosh’s remarks as a straightforward positive for rate cuts this time.
He clearly stated that the 2% inflation target will not change, but the current data is not yet sufficient to prove that inflation is returning to 2% quickly. This is crucial.
What the market wants to trade most right now is a rate cut—but what the Fed truly cares about is inflation.
If the subsequent PCE and CPI data continue to improve, expectations for easing will naturally heat up;
but if inflation proves to be erratic, rate-cut expectations will be repriced just the same.
So at this stage, I actually think we should stay a bit cautious.
The market can price in rate-cut expectations early, but before liquidity truly turns more accommodative, expectations are ultimately just expectations.
The hotter the market has been recently, the more you can’t look at only prices—the macro story hasn’t really run its full course yet.
