🚨 XLM account breaks 10 million! To get into the top 1%, how many coins do you need?

The XLM network has recently hit a new milestone—there are now more than 10 million accounts with balances.👀 But what’s really sparking discussion isn’t the number of accounts; it’s a set of data about “holding rankings.”
According to the latest statistics, holding about 1,400 XLM is enough to place you in the top 4% of all accounts. Holding 5,003 XLM gets you into the top 2%. And to make it into the top 1%, the threshold is roughly 12,274 XLM.
As for the top 0.1%, the required amount jumps straight to 112,541 XLM.📊
What’s most interesting about this data is that while XLM’s account count has already exceeded ten million, the thresholds for reaching the top few percent don’t seem as high as many people might expect.
At the current price of about $0.18, 1,400 XLM is worth roughly $250; entering the top 1% requires about $2,200; and the top 0.1% threshold is around $20,000.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that “being in the top 1%” automatically implies any specific advantage in terms of wealth.
That’s because this calculation is based on account count, not actual user count. One person can hold multiple wallets, and large institutions may distribute assets across different addresses—so account rankings can’t fully reflect real holder rankings.⚠️
However, this data still points to a change worth paying attention to: as the number of XLM network accounts continues to grow, the distribution of holdings is becoming increasingly dispersed.
The question now is: if network accounts keep rising in the future, will the 12,274 XLM needed to enter the top 1% today slowly turn into an even higher number? For XLM, what may be truly worth watching isn’t just the price, but after those 10 million accounts, whether network growth can continue.
📌 Account numbers keep increasing and the ecosystem is expanding; but in the future, the holding thresholds may also be quietly changing.
