Ethereum, today’s data set has something to it.

ETF net inflows totaled $865 million, while a further $111 million in short positions were liquidated. Put these two figures side by side—the gap is quite obvious.

$865 million is real money for active long entries, not a passive push from short-covering. On-chain stablecoin net inflows are also moving upward in tandem, meaning Ethereum’s liquidity conditions are genuinely improving.

The funding signal is very straightforward: the bulls are continuously adding through the ETF channel, and after this round of shorts was liquidated, it won’t be easy for them to build up an order book of the same size again in the short term. Next, it remains to be seen whether ETF inflows can maintain this pace—this is the key variable that determines on-chain supply-demand balance.
