$EDEN rose 17.88% leading the front row, but the one with the thickest volume is another token
OpenEden (EDEN) today printed a very “meaningful” bullish candle: up 17.88% in the past 24 hours, trading at $0.068. Trading volume hit $5.2 million, with 101k transactions—straight into the first tier of the gainers list. EDEN is backed by a tokenized U.S. Treasury note: an RWA platform that brings U.S. Treasuries on-chain. It only recently went live on Binance, and it had been relatively quiet beforehand, but today it surged with increased volume.
What’s interesting is that on the board, volume and price don’t line up neatly by percentage gains. $MANTRA rose 11.68% to enter the front ranks, but over 24 hours it only had $2.2 million in volume and 25k transactions. Meanwhile, $CHIP —up just 8.45%—managed $9.4 million in volume and 140k transactions. The trading value is 1.8 times EDEN’s, and the number of trades is up 40%. The biggest gainer isn’t necessarily the one with the largest volume; the token with the most new positions is actually the one that rose the slowest.
So what does this imply? If you pick tokens based solely on percentage gain, you can easily be misled by one big green candle. Real popularity is hidden in trading volume and the number of trades: CHIP has thicker volume and more participants—people are truly putting real money in and out, not just a few large orders pushing the price higher.
#Marvell盘后跌超5% #黄金8月上涨约14% #央行Q2购金289吨创纪录 #标普500涨0.7%科技板块涨3.3%
Price can be lifted quickly by money, but popularity can only be built by a group of people slowly gathering. Just like Lao Ma’s little dog—what matters is never who can shout the loudest, but who has a real crowd of enthusiasts around them, day after day doing the same thing.
