$XAG OMG, the short side recites like a chant and has choked its own throat hoarse. For the silver spot market, this order-book setup hasn’t given so much as a single step down—buy-side walls are thicker than the sell-side by more than ten percent. If anyone wants to smash the market down, they first have to bite through, piece by piece, the flesh of the buyers standing ready to catch the fall. Meanwhile, the spot price is still poking higher; it’s far more stubborn than the futures. The fees are also flipping upward. Real, hard cash buy orders simply haven’t flinched—deal activity stayed hot all day, and that little bit of fluctuation isn’t even enough to scratch an itch. In my view, pushing sideways down from this position is basically handing ammunition to the longs. The shorts don’t even have the confidence to bounce around—once the trend turns hard, you’re going to get your face swollen from getting slapped.
