【HaoTian’s Viewpoint | 08-28】Here’s something that some people may disagree with:

SOXL (semiconductors) currently has a long-to-short ratio of 3.9, and 80% of people are going long.

This is not a good sign.

Historical data tells me: when the long-to-short ratio exceeds 3.0, the probability of an adverse (reverse) move within the next 48 hours is over 60%. It’s not because the market is bad—it’s because too many people are standing on the same side. Once anything shifts, stop-losses get triggered in a rush.

My take: if you’re currently heavily long on SOXL (semiconductors), I suggest cutting your position to below 30%. This isn’t bearish—it's to protect against a stop-loss stampede.
