A Bitcoin wallet that had been inactive since 2012 suddenly transferred its entire 40 $BTC balance.
Galaxy Research reports that the coins were purchased on May 28, 2012; at that time Bitcoin was trading for around $5.
Back then, the value of these assets was approximately $200. Fourteen years later, those coins were worth about $3.14 million.
Although the buyer is identified as Boerse Stuttgart Digital, the sender's identity is still not disclosed.
