I recently looked into UniScan.
Before, I thought it was just a browser for checking balances and transactions. After watching UniSat’s latest introduction, I found it actually has quite a lot of features.
Just paste in an address, and you can see BTC, BRC-20, Runes, Alkanes, and Ordinals. It also organizes the asset allocation, balance changes, transaction records, and activity data for you.
For retail users, it’s not very complicated—so in the future you won’t have to keep hopping between multiple websites to check your assets.
You put assets in the wallet, the market handles trading, and UniScan handles the data lookup. UniSat’s setup is gradually being connected together—maybe they’re aiming to capture all the entry points for Bitcoin assets.
The direction is promising, but in the end, a browser still needs to be accurate with the data and attract enough users. Otherwise, no matter how many features it has, it’s only a pretty page.
