Foresight News reports that, according to Bloomberg, a consortium consisting of private equity firm Advent International and payments giant Stripe has decided to abandon its plan to acquire PayPal. Previously, the consortium had made an acquisition offer of more than $50 billion to PayPal. Insiders say that circumstances may change in the future, and Advent and Stripe may still bring the acquisition proposal back to the table.
