I took a look at the spot data: BTCUSDT is currently around 79,903U, up 1.30% over the past 24 hours, with an intraday high of 81,478U. $SOL is still hovering around 107.4U, up 6.02% over the past 24 hours, and is still the strongest among the mainstream coins.
My take is: the market isn’t short on momentum—what’s happening is that above 80k, BTC has started to be more selective about the quality of buy orders.
SOL is strong, but after consistently leading, the higher it goes, the more it tests whether the market can actually absorb the volume.
Here I’ll watch two things:
1. Whether BTC can regain and hold back above the 80,500 to 81,000 area.
2. When SOL pulls back, is it a low-volume pause to catch its breath, or is it a sign that capital is starting to rotate out.
For spot, I won’t chase a single candle. Are you more bullish on BTC coming back to lead again, or on SOL continuing to run solo?
