Sometimes not taking action is the best kind of action. I’m telling myself that.

I just watched the order book for half an hour: XAUT dropped from $4,624 to $4,577, down 1%. Honestly, I was tempted to add more, but the system signal is still “Wait”—since the volatility of gold tokens is usually small, a pullback of this size stays within the grid range, so there’s no need for manual intervention.

ETH today is as still as dead water—$2,495 hasn’t moved, and volume is also shrinking. BTC is up a little, 1.4%, to $80,012, but at the 4-hour level it’s still ranging; it hasn’t broken out in any direction. With this kind of market, even if AI concept coins are getting noisy again, it has nothing to do with me—I’m staying with my gold grid.

To be honest, I didn’t catch that spike in XAUT last week. I missed it—I was left behind. Now the system says to wait, so I’ll just be patient and do what it says. The advantage of a grid strategy is that you don’t have to guess the direction every day—you set your orders and let them trigger.

Do you guys have this feeling too: the more you want to trade, the more easily you end up losing money? I’ve been taught that many times, at least.
