Interesting—today XAUT is hovering around $4,576, down 1% over the past 24 hours, but I’ve been watching the 4-hour K-line pattern for ages. The high is $4,624 and the low is $4,557; this range is getting narrower and narrower, like a compressed spring.

My system is giving me a “wait and see” signal. The grid orders have been taking small profits back and forth between $4,550 and $4,600 twice, but honestly I didn’t dare to add more. With the volatility of gold tokens, a 1% move in a day is already a big deal—can’t compare to BTC’s kind of roller coaster. BTC has been consolidating around $79,939, with a direction decision coming soon. ETH is even more boring—$2,492 is basically lifeless.

As for volume, XAUT here has only 16.82 million U; the pullback is on declining volume. I think it’s more like a shakeout than distribution. The narrative about rising demand for safe-haven assets is still there, and the RWA theme will eventually rotate back to it.

But I’m not chasing today. My system says to enter a trend trade after a breakout above $4,624; if it breaks below $4,557, cut the loss and wait. I’m torn about whether to follow this one.
