$01 Holder Reflections:

Today I attended an industry exchange conference, and I gained even deeper insights from it.

Looking across the entire blockchain sector, any technology and ecosystem that can survive through cycles is never something that forms overnight. Today’s well-known industry pioneers have all, without exception, walked through long years, undergone round after round of bull and bear cycles, and only then gradually accumulated technology, applications, and consensus.

However, a very common mindset in the industry today is to habitually take the current, mature height of established things and use it to benchmark a new thing that is still in its early stages of growth. It’s like expecting a newborn child to immediately understand worldly affairs and produce results, using the educational achievements of an adult as the standard.

Every new technology has its own objective lifecycle. From the idea being proposed, to the refinement of the technology, to community consolidation and real-world deployment—each step requires time for validation. It’s impossible to skip the process of growth and directly reach the endpoint of maturity.

The market is always full of noise. Too many people focus only on short-term price fluctuations and hope for a rapid breakout and overnight results. But they ignore this: in a truly vital track, what is tested is precisely patience.

A clear and sober understanding is especially important:
We can observe the innovation logic behind new technologies and understand the direction a sector is developing, but we must also respect objective laws. Whether an ecosystem can go far depends on whether the technology can iterate continuously and whether there are real needs supporting it—and ultimately, it should be tested by time and the market.

The hype will come and go. Speculation may create a moment of excitement, but long-term value is always something that grows slowly. Having fewer impatient expectations and more reverence for the growth cycle of things may be the mindset we should have most while staying in this industry.
