Bitcoin’s last week’s weekly K-line, measured in US dollars, posted the largest single-week gain in history. The data from Galaxy Research is right there: the week’s rise was more than ten thousand dollars, with a jump exceeding 20%.

Wow, those numbers definitely give a real rush. But we should make it clear: the biggest gain measured in dollars is partly because today’s price base is far larger than it was in earlier years—if you increase by the same 20%, the amount of money it corresponds to today is much higher than it used to be.

What’s really worth watching is where the money comes from: net inflows into spot ETFs that week were about $1.9 billion—its strongest week since October last year—plus a round of short-covering squeeze. With real money coming in, it’s more solid than gains built purely from funds circulating without fresh capital.

Can you trust it? “The largest in history” is “the largest in history,” but don’t get carried away just because you see those words. When the price is rising fast, the first thing to control is your own hands.
