【Is DOGE Undervalued, or Just an Unfillable Pit?】
Many people see DOGE down nearly 90% from its peak and think, “It’s cheap,” believing it’s a good time to buy the dip.
But I’ve seen too many people die because of the words “it’s cheap.”
Here’s my take: In the next 7 days, I’m leaning toward ➡️ choppy action with a slight bias to the upside.
Why?
First, the technicals are at a decision point. Right now, the price is stuck in the range of 0.0845 to 0.0917. It’s been churning for weeks, yet trading volume has expanded unusually. This kind of movement either builds up for a big breakout upward, or it’s the main players distributing. From what I’ve observed, in a volume-expansion ranging market, the probability of an upside breakout is higher—at least among the assets I’ve tracked.
Second, the Fear and Greed Index is 71. Market sentiment isn’t euphoric, but it’s also not bleak. In situations like this, there’s often incremental capital waiting on the sidelines. Once market sentiment heats up further, this batch of capital becomes fuel for pushing prices higher.
Third—and this is the most practical point—DOGE isn’t purely a concept-based hype trade. Tesla really has used it to make payments, and SpaceX’s Starlink plan also has some shadow of it. Whether it can be genuinely implemented remains to be seen, but at least someone is trying.
Speaking of “landing in the real world”—
Many people haven’t thought it through: DOGE’s real value isn’t just about how technically impressive it is. It’s its community consensus and cultural symbol. When I was running e-commerce back in 2008, who would’ve thought a meme could sell for billions? But the truth is the truth. The power of memes in the crypto market can never be ignored.
Of course, if you’re going in for “value investing,” DOGE might not be a fit. But if you’re looking to catch a swing trade, this position is worth watching.
What situation would make me change my mind?
If BTC suddenly pulls back sharply, or if a macro “black swan” event appears—say, the Fed sends out a hawkish signal that’s beyond expectations. I won’t change my view because of DOGE’s own price movement, but if the broader market environment changes, that’s a different story.
So my view is: ➡️ ranging action, with a possibility of a quick upside breakout on the short term.
What do you think about this wave? Do you believe DOGE can truly stand up this time, or will it once again disappoint?
