Polymarket US has withdrawn two NFL player participation contract filings. According to ChainCatcher, the prediction market platform has completed certification with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and plans to launch related products no earlier than August 27.
Polymarket US also certified Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana price contracts, with all three submitted in paired form and classified as swap contracts under the binary options subcategory. NFL contracts and crypto contracts were both involved in the relevant classification process.
The NFL compliance analysis filing was submitted separately with a request for permanent non-disclosure, with Polymarket US saying public release would reveal trade secrets and give competitors an unfair advantage. As of the record, another NFL starting lineup eligibility contract remained certified.
