$BTC Tonight, I stared at the 4-hour chart for a long time.
One signal kept me from stopping: the MACD green bars are slowly crawling up one by one from the bottom—this isn’t a breakout, but a gradual narrowing of negative values. What does that mean? It means the bearish momentum is quietly ebbing, and the balance of power between bulls and bears is starting to tug back and forth.
This signal shows up because the selling pressure from the past two days no longer pushed the price down. Every dip gets caught, and then the price bounces back. The market is testing one question: the $80,000 level— is it a ceiling, or the foundation for something new?
At the same time, the moving-average structure is also speaking: MA7 is pressing against MA25, MA25 is pressing against MA99, and all three lines are neatly sloping upward. This isn’t a random market—it’s someone making systematic buys.
However, the final candlestick shows volume contraction. The price didn’t drop, yet the trading volume shrank by nearly 70%. There are two possible explanations: first, the bulls are temporarily resting; second, the sellers still haven’t truly appeared. The direction hasn’t been chosen yet, but the bulls’ back card is thicker.
My trading plan as reference:
• Entry: wait for the close to confirm holding above $80,200, or buy if a retest near $79,500 doesn’t break
• Stop loss: close below $78,700 (if the 4H close breaks below, exit)
• Take profit: first target $82,500; if volume can keep up, look at $85,000
I don’t chase price. I’d rather miss than chase while standing on the tip of a knife.
What do you think this move is—will it keep going up, or will we first see a pullback to shake out positions? Comment your view below 👇
