Wheat prices on the Euronext exchange rose on Thursday to their highest level in one month, as concerns intensified about possible disruptions to grain exports from Russia and Ukraine, following reports indicating an escalation in the intensity of the conflict.
The December wheat contract on Euronext rose by 0.60% to reach 246.75 euros (287.46 dollars) per metric ton, by 19:07 Saudi Arabia time. Earlier in the session, the benchmark contract touched 249.00 euros, recording its highest levels since 24/07/2025, when the contract peaked at 250.50 euros.
