[SOL’s pump is a bit suspicious]

Honestly, the way SOL has been moving these past few days has left me a little confused.

Yesterday, the whole market was pulling back. Bitcoin broke below 79,000, ETH followed down, and the market was entirely green. Only SOL and BNB were different—one just stayed flat, and the other pushed upward against the trend. My first thought was: is this real support, or is there actually buying pressure?

Today, the answer is out—up 11% on the day, up 24% on the week, and trading volume has exploded. I won’t read out the numbers again—you all know them better than I do. I just want to ask: why?

SOL’s price is only just above 108; it’s still far from its previous high. But the issue isn’t the price—it’s the logic behind this rally.

I looked around at the news, and I couldn’t find any substantive catalysts. Did an ETF get approved? No. Did the ecosystem explode? No. Any major technical breakthrough? Nothing I’ve heard. So what exactly is rising—sentiment? Short covering? Or is someone pumping to dump?

I’m stuck on this question right now: did the fundamentals change, or is it pure capital flow behavior?

If it’s just capital flow, then anyone entering now is basically doing a dance on the edge of a knife. An 11% daily gain isn’t a small number—profit-taking could come crashing down at any moment. But if there’s a logic behind it that I haven’t seen, then I might miss the next wave.

What makes me even more conflicted is that 61% drawdown. I’ve seen “oversold” stories like this far too many times back in 2017. Some coins can drop another 90% after already falling 90%. Low valuation isn’t a buy signal by itself—you have to check whether the reasons behind the undervaluation are still there.

Right now, I’m watching two things: whether the resistance at 111.86 can be broken, and whether the trading volume can hold up. If it breaks above 113, I’ll accept it. But if it can’t push through, this rally is very likely a short trap.

What about you? Do you think this SOL move is an opportunity or a trap? What’s your mindset right now—are you itching to jump in?
