Just took a look at the data—there’s something going on.
$NFP is down directly by 65%. This drop isn’t a pullback; it’s a crash. The trading volume is 3.8 million—not that large—suggesting there aren’t many buyers stepping in. It feels more like the project team is dumping, or internal bad news leaked. $VANRY is also down 37%. Two meme coins both collapsing—I suspect it’s the same reason. Retail is running, but the big players may have already left. This kind of low-volume, violent selloff usually means the bottom hasn’t been reached yet—don’t rush in.
MOVR, on the other hand, is up +41%. Volume is 22.5 million, and inflows are clear. But the way it’s pumping doesn’t look right—BTC is only up 2%, yet MOVR alone is up 41%. Either there’s some news I haven’t seen, or it’s the market maker pumping themselves. The funding rate is 0.009%, which is still relatively healthy—not to the extreme level of chasing longs. You can follow it in the short term, but I’ve set my stop-loss very close.
BTC is currently holding at 80,000. A 1.37B trading volume says the market is still active. Today’s action is a classic split situation—BTC is stable, while small caps are bleeding out. The only ones you can chase are the strong-maker coins; if you try to buy into a weak one, you’re just catching a falling knife.
Do you think this move in MOVR can last?
