Did you notice? Today a coin just launched at a 45-degree angle up.
$MOVR 24 hours, it has surged nearly 50%, and the price is right on the psychological $1 mark. The trading volume is 22 million—more than those crashed coins combined. What “value discovery” is this? It’s obvious a market maker is pulling it up.
I took a look at the ecosystem—there doesn’t seem to be any particularly big upside. So the most likely scenario is a pump-and-dump strategy to unload at the top. For small-cap coins, once they’re pumped, profit-takers can dump at any moment. The risk is extremely high. If you chase, you’d have to enter and exit quickly, and set a stop loss at 0.85. If it breaks below that level, don’t keep hoping.
As for those crashed ones—especially NFP at -66%. That’s not a correction anymore; it’s an ankle-chop. Either the project team dumped, or leveraged traders got liquidated on top of each other. With it down that far, it’s unlikely to recover in the short term—don’t think about catching the falling knife.
$BTC is holding up today. It’s consolidating near $80k with lower volume, and the funding rate is also healthy. As long as the broader market hasn’t collapsed, anomalies in small coins are mostly due to their own issues.
For these blow-up and crash moves, just watch it. Don’t let your emotions take over. Of the ten who chase the rally, nine end up buried. Do you think this MOVR move can last, or will it just drop straight into a waterfall tomorrow?
