Charles Schwab, a U.S. broker that manages $1.3 trillion in assets, plans to add SOL, AVAX, and LINK to its crypto accounts.

This is its first move beyond BTC and ETH. As the leading oracle project, LINK has been picked by traditional finance, giving it an extra layer of legitimacy beyond most altcoins.

Several crypto media outlets have been reposting the news, and Binance News has also posted about it. But as of the time of publication, Charles Schwab’s official channels have not released a formal announcement yet—so treat it as “planned” for now.

If it does go through, users of Schwab’s 40 million brokerage accounts will, for the first time, encounter LINK directly within a mainstream brokerage interface. A bridge between DeFi and traditional capital may be quietly built this way.

But a question remains: is this a genuine demand, or is it just a wave of imagination fueled by news hype?
