⚡ Sudden Market Surge | Well, damn it—BTC really pushed through 80,000
Current price: $80,330.29. Up 2.81% in the past 24 hours. The last time a daily candle closed above 80,000 was May 14—105 days ago. That’s been a little over 3 months. An hour and a half ago, it was still hovering below 80,000.
Do you know how wild these three days have been? Up 1.69% over the last 3 days, and over the last 7 days it directly surged to +10.00%. The 24-hour high hit $80,799.91 and the low was $77,858.00, with trading volume of $1.27 billion.
Money is really flowing in. Yesterday, BTC spot ETFs saw net inflows of $232 million, and ETH spot ETFs had net inflows of $192 million—off-exchange funds are still being moved in. Futures open interest has risen to $8.52 billion, up 3.1% in 24 hours, and leverage within the market is also increasing. The Fear & Greed Index is 71—greed. That’s 6 points higher than the 65 from the day before, and sentiment is already on the hot side.
But don’t get too excited too soon. Compared to the all-time high of $126,199.63, we’re still 57.1% away—not exactly close. The proportion of long accounts is only 50.7%. It’s basically a 50-50 split, so the market isn’t that unanimous after all.
At this level, I think it needs to hold for a few days—daily candles need to稳稳 close above it. It’s not a quick spike that immediately retracts.
So, is this breakout for real, or is it just another rally followed by a pullback? What do you all think?
