Right now, the most important thing isn’t guessing the top—it’s whether the 80,000 level can turn pressure into support.

$BTC Current price is about $79,810, up roughly 2% in the past 24 hours. It has already rebounded more than 22% from around $63,500 in mid-August, but the first major resistance right in front of us is $80,000–81,200.
The real substance behind this move is the spot capital: US-listed spot BTC ETFs have been seeing net inflows for 8 straight days, totaling about $2.8 billion. Meanwhile, BTC-denominated OI actually declined 11% to around 312,600 BTC, indicating the rally hasn’t been driven by overly aggressive leverage.
But in the short term, things are getting a bit hot: the Fear & Greed Index is 80, 24H BTC liquidations are about $24.28 million, and longs are starting to show profit-taking.
My plan: $77,500–78,000 is the first support; $75,000 is the line separating strength from weakness. If volume increases and price holds above $81,200, then we continue to watch $83K–$86K. If it breaks below $75K, cut exposure first.
