🚨 $BTC is attacking again the $80K… but this time there’s a detail I wouldn’t ignore

Bitcoin already showed something this week:

It can break $80,000.

What it STILL hasn’t proven is that it can stay above it.

Today BTC briefly surpassed $80K again, but then slipped back toward the $79K area.

And while the price battles that resistance, something important is happening outside the chart:

🏦 Bitcoin spot ETFs have 8 straight sessions of inflows.

💰 The streak has accumulated roughly $2.8B.

📈 August is already over $3B in net inflows, becoming the best month of 2026 so far.

That changes the read quite a bit.

We’re no longer only seeing a short squeeze.

Institutional capital is also coming in while BTC consolidates below a key resistance.

🟢 BULLISH SCENARIO

I want to see Bitcoin:

➡️ reclaim $80K
➡️ close clearly above on the 1H
➡️ and then defend $79.5K–$80K as support

If that happens, I’d be watching:

🔥 $80.5K
🔥 $81.2K
🔥 $82K–$83K

Breaking above $81.2K again would be especially important because it would wipe out the high that rejected price this week.

🔴 BEARISH SCENARIO

As long as BTC can’t hold $80K, there’s still risk of another pullback.

The first key zone is:

📉 $77.6K–$78K

If buyers stop defending it:

➡️ $76K–$77K

would quickly come back into focus.

There’s something I like about this setup:

The ETFs keep buying…

but the price still can’t break out.

That means the market is forcing us to wait for confirmation.

$80K is still the battleground.

The difference will be checking whether, this time, Bitcoin simply makes another wick…

or finally turns the old resistance into support.

👀 What do you think happens first?

🔥 $82K
or
📉 $77K
